Jakkels messed us up so much as kids by surprising us from behind in Wonderboy. All the enemies come from the right as with all right to left side scrolling platform games but no Jakkels had to give us a fright by coming from behind on the left. We hoped that by building a 3d model of him and giving our child hood fears a sculptural form we could lay these fears to rest.
